Not really frequently asked questions, but the ones we anticipate people would ask if we didn't write them down here.
What’s Bash the Haggis about?
It’s a bit of fun, when you need a break from work, blogging, emailing or whatever. Come on board and bash to your heart’s content.
How does the advertising work?
You can rent as many squares as are available for the princely sum of £5 per sq. You can pay by credit card (through the secure payment system) or by PayPal. Or you can wire money to our account. Whatever you fancy. Contact sales@bashthehaggis.com for more info
How much does it cost?
£5 per square per month. If you want 4 squares then that would be 4x5= £20. Minimum purchase is 1 square, the maximum is what ever is left.
How long can I advertise for?
You can advertise for 1 month at a time.
Will the price always be £5 per square?
Not necessarily. It could go up or down, each time you buy you will be advised how much it costs.
What if I want to advertise for longer than a month?
That’s not possible at present, but maybe in the future.
How many visitors do you get?
We average around 1,000 unique visitors a day.
How do I know if I’m getting value for money?
If you find that it doesn't work for you and you wish to withdraw the advert in the first 7 days of your month then we will refund your money.
What are your terms and conditions?
  1. Money must be received by us and your advert approved before it goes live. Your month will start from the day your advert goes live.
  2. We don’t accept any pornographic / obscene / offensive images or links to sites we deem to be any of the above. Editor’s decision is final on what gets included.
  3. You do not own the blocks of pixels you buy. You cannot resell these. They remain at all times the property of Bash the Haggis.
  4. You are not allowed to change the link once it has been submitted. If you do, or the link gets redirected to another site then your ad will be withdrawn as soon as possible. You will not be reimbursed.
  5. Minimum purchase is 1 square - £5
  6. Images must be in the jpeg / gif / png formats.
  7. That’s about it.
How many British pounds are there to the US dollar?
Roughly the exchange rate is £0.60 = $1
How many US Dollars are there to the British pound?
That’s about $1.75 = £1.
Can I pay in Euros?
Not at present but if we get requests we will see what we can do.

Do I have to pay before I find out if my ad gets approved?
Yes, unless you pay by PayPal or wire money to us. We will of course refund all money if you ad is not accepted. However as long as you abide by the terms and conditions there is no reason why your ad should not be accepted.
What happens if you don’t approve my ad?
We will write to you and refund any money.
What if I change my mind?
If you change your mind and or find the advertising isn't working for you, then let us know within the first 7 days and we will refund your money.

Do you have to be Scottish to advertise?
No we advertise all sorts of things. Remember that the target audience you are reaching through Bash the Haggis is world wide and are interested in gaming. So there are many products that they would be interested in.
Have any animals been hurt in the making of this website?
Absolutely not ;)
